We provide eye care that includes but is not limited to comprehensive eye examinations for the entire family. We perform office based surgical and laser procedures and offer contact lens fitting and dispense glasses. I perform my hospital based procedures in Samaritan and St Mary's Hospitals. I do cover eye related emergencies for both these hospitals. As I am the only physician in the practice, our patients do not have to worry about finding a different physician every time they visit or call our office.

We have an optical shop that is run by Tom Feiden, a licenced optician who has been in this practice for past ten years . We have excellent after- hours coverage for our established patients that is provided either by myself or in my absence by other ophthalmologists in town with whom I have close professional liaison.

We value patient comfort and education. It is our policy never to double book except for emergencies and we pride ourselves for our patient flow. I spend majority of my patient time in education because I believe that improves compliance to treatment. Linda Haughney, our technician seems to know everyone by their first name -and if you are from the area she is got to know someone in your family. Tom, our optician, was born and brought up in Troy area and everyone who knows him knows you can walk in any time and he can fix the toughest of your eyeglass problems with a friendly smile and keep you entertained with his chatter while doing so. Karen is our office manger and each time she is not seen at the front desk - patients have nervous queries about her absence. She will work with anyone who cannot afford health insurance and in the process she has to work hard to keep all accounts straight - somehow she does it beautifully.
